Our Story: What's in a Name Who/What/When/Where/Why/How Vision

WHO/WHAT/WHEN/WHERE/WHY/HOW?

Who are we?

Established in March 2006, TLP Foundation is a federally incorporated not-for-profit charitable organization that is dedicated to improving the lives of children battling cancer.

Incorporation # 435333-1
Charitable Registration #85944 6528 RR0001

What do we do?

We run programs and social events that assist in keeping kids affected by cancer positive and upbeat, and most importantly happy. We do this through our CHEO Treasure Chest & educational/social outings. In addition, we encourage these children to pursue their educational goals through our Education/Bursary program.

When do we do it?

All year round! Our programs and events run all year long, as do our fundraising efforts.

Where do we do it?

Currently, our focus is in the region of eastern Ontario and Western Quebec, and in particular, on the children being treated at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario.

Why do we do it?

Plain and simply, because we care.

All of our directors and volunteers share the same desire to make a difference in the lives of children who are facing off against cancer. It is an incredible feeling to connect with a sick child and their family and know that you have made an impact on their lives. That is what drives us to reach as many people as possible.

How do we do it?

We are able to do all that we do through the selfless work of our volunteers and through the generous support of our donors and sponsors. Time is donated by extremely qualified personnel, and additional money is raised through events such as our annual Golf Tournament, the United Way Campaign & proceeds donated from sales generated by our partners.
