Our 5th annual golf tournament was another huge success, raising just over $7,300 for our cause. Many thanks to all the players and organizations who contributed to the event and enjoyed a lovely day, and a very special thanks to Brookfield Renewable Energy for sponsoring the supper. Next year’s tournament is already booked for August 26th at Edelweiss Golf and Country Club. Tell your family & friends!

For the 3rd year, TLP Foundation held it’s signature event – a trip aboard the HCW Steam Train! Together we celebrated by bringing 110 people representing 25 CHEO oncology families along for the ride! Our group occupied two entire rail cars aboard the Hull-Chelsea-Wakefield Steam Train for the 5 hour voyage along the scenic route with a 2 hour stopover in beautiful Wakefield, Quebec. Thank you to all the families who participated, and to the Desai family & BW Services (www.bwottawa.com) for co-sponsoring this event.

Brookfield Properties and Corner Kitchen team up to raise $2,641.60 for the TLP Foundation treasure Chest Program! Brookfield Properties (Place de Ville location) gave out free poinsettias before Christmas to anyone making a donation to TLP Foundation, raising $1,641.60. Corner Kitchen matched that amount up to $1,000.00, giving us our grand total. Great job everyone!
